ACTIV x Veterans First Consulting
Veterans First Consulting is proud to partner with the Australian Centre for Trauma in Veterans (ACTIV) to deliver another free informational event to benefit our veteran community.
Veteran Information & Open Discussion Night:
Understanding the Role of DVA-Requested Mental Health and Permanent Impairment Assessments — is it the end or the beginning?
This educational series is designed to help current and former serving veterans understand the role of permanent impairment assessments in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, including PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.
Program Outline
Informational Session:
Why do I need a PI assessment and what does it mean for me?
How can I prepare for my assessment?
What is the psychiatrist asking and why?
What are the key things to understand about the overall PI assessment from a conditions perspective?
How can I get access to treatment and what specific treatments are available?
Q&A Session:
This portion of the event will be dedicated to having an open discussion with the room.
You may optionally pre-submit your questions after you RSVP, via the form on the event registration page.
